What will you do?

  • Working in a team in the development of custom made software for national and international customers from different industries;
  • Coding new features, improvements and bug fixings;
  • Coming up with alternative solutions, workarounds or shortcuts;
  • Testing, debugging and documentation.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • An University degree in an ICT related field;
  • Professional experience with Java (Microprofile/Quarkus/JEE/Spring);
  • Good understanding of JEE specifications (JPA, JAX-RS, JAX-WS...);
  • Good knowledge and professional experience with code versioning tools like GIT, SVN, etc., CI/CD tools like Jenkins, DevOps, Docker & Kubernetes;
  • Willing to learn and adopt best practices and emerging technologies and solutions;
  • Team spirit and orientation towards excellence;
  • Fluency in English.

 

Methodology and tooling you will use

  • Agile methodology;
  • Testing automation practices;
  • Jenkins, Maven, SVN/Git, Nexus, SonarQube or equivalents depending on the project;
  • Linux, Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Freedom to choose your IDE and open source tools;

  • 2 years of WebApps or Mobile Apps development experience;
  • Professional experience with Angular, typescript, Ionic and Cordova;
  • Professional experience with NPM, Rollup, Gulp, Yarn, SVN, Jenkins is appreciated;
  • Professional experience with Restful Services;

What will you do?

  • You will be part of a scrum team focused on delivering projects in short iterations of product features with high quality, working closely with developers and business analysts;
  • You will develop code for quality automation and ensuring extensive test coverage; 
  • You will write, test and fix written code for functional, regression and performance testing;
  • You will check for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance;
  • You will perform high-class debugging;
  • You will prepare test reports.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as SDET - Software Development Engineer in Test;
  • Good knowledge of Java core;
  • Solid SQL knowledge;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios (Gherkin & Cucumber);
  • Ability to validate functional analysis and technical design document, provide estimates;
  • Willing to do manual testing when required;
  • Good knowledge of testing theory;
  • Understands benefits of using automated testing and only when applicable;
  • Understanding and experience working according to agile principles (Scrum);
  • Experience with GITCI (Jenkins), Maven or equivalent;
  • Experience with UNIX;
  • To work well in a team as well as independently;

  • Proactive communication;
